Must I have my own domain name?
Yes. In order to use EsoSoft's Basic Web Hosting service, you will need your own domain name.

Can EsoSoft register a domain name for me?
Yes. If the domain name you enter on the sign-up form is not yet registered, the Order Desk will register it for you and in your name. The cost for domain name registration is $40.00 for the first two years and $20.00 per year thereafter.

Where can I search for available domain names?
You can search for available domain names at our Basic Web Hosting information page:

I already have my own domain but I did not register it at EsoSoft. Can I still use your service?
Absolutely! Your domain name does not have to be registered at EsoSoft in order to use our Basic Web Hosting service. You will, however, need to change the nameserver information that your domain is using. More information about changing nameserver information is available on-line via our Nameservers Tutor.

How much does it cost to transfer my domain name to EsoSoft?
You are not required to transfer the registration of your domain to EsoSoft in order to use our Basic Web Hosting service. However, if you would like to have both your domain name registration and web hosting "under one roof," you are welcome to transfer your domain. There is no charge for the transfer itself, however, during the transfer process an additional year of registration will be added to your domain. The charge for that additional year is $20.00. If you would like to transfer your domain to EsoSoft, please indicate that in the "Comments, Questions, Special Instructions" field on the sign-up form.
